Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

When you fancy a salty snack these are the business and so easy to make.

Soak pumpkin seeds overnight in cold water

Rinse off pop on a baking tray and splash a little soy sauce on them

Roast in  hot oven for 10 mins (200deg C)

Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn

When you take them out they will seem a bit soft but as they cool they get more crunchy.

Pumpkin seeds are a concentrated source of numerous health benefiting minerals, vitamins and anti-oxidants. Take it easy on them though as they are high in calories about 559 cal per 100g
